Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, this position provides multiple administrative
functions in a high profile, front desk location. This position is responsible for assisting residents
with various needs and requests, greeting visitors, answering a multi-line telephone, responding
to tenant wireless security calls, updating, and maintaining tenant data files. This position
involves interaction with our diverse and active senior population and requires a positive, friendly,
and professional demeanor that is in line with the company’s commitment to service and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
∙Greet visitors, vendors, applicants, and the general public in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
∙Monitor and maintain documentation of visitors and tenants entering and leaving the building.
∙Answer a multi-line telephone and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
∙Create and maintain tenant records using Move-In/Move-Out Checklist, initial and date.
∙Maintain tenant activity sign-up sheets.
∙Assist the marketing department in a secretarial capacity, with messaging, inquiries, and scheduling apartment tours. Seldomly give apartment tour, per manager discretion.
∙Maintain marketing label address program of prospective tenants and families on StatTrak address manager.
∙Check the security computer to identify tenants who did not push the call-in button. Contact tenant(s) who did not check in to assure his/her safety.
∙Follow up with tenant pages (emergency pager) connected to tenant call boxes and pendants adhering to procedure.
∙Provide the security function for emergencies and opening and closing the building for daytime operations.
∙Maintain call box/medical alert pendant records, current vacancy list on Tenant Room list by floor, and postage stamp records. Record reservations for guest rooms in reservation logbook.
∙Maintain activity documents for sign-ups, daily activity notices, and transportation schedules.
∙Maintain company payroll list for weekly timecard preparation.
∙Maintain maintenance work order journal and night security book.
∙Maintain current tenant entrée list for daily, weekly, and monthly changes to the dining room and food program. Notify kitchen staff of meal changes and/or tenants’ absences.
∙Maintain birthday and anniversary records for tenants. Have cards available for signing.
∙Update and log tenant weekly meal choices on spreadsheet for kitchen.
∙Update monthly kitchen ticket tallies for Business Director.
∙Prepare and print mail out newsletter address labels.
∙Fold, label and mail out activity’s newsletter.
∙Call tenants to remind and/or invite activities, per Activities Manger discretion.
∙Receive packages and incoming mail. Stamp and initial mail and place in appropriate
mailboxes. Notify tenants of package arrival. Maintain postage stamp sales record.
∙Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and tenants.
∙Keep lobby, foyer, and reception area safe and clean.
∙Keep bulletin boards free of clutter and up to date.
∙Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge of:
∙Microsoft Office and Publisher.
∙Various Social Media Platforms.
∙Multi-line telephone systems.
∙Clerical duties.

∙Performing multiple tasks concurrently.
∙Developing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships with a diverse and active

Education and/or Experience
∙High School Diploma or G.E.D.
∙Candidate must have at least two years of general office and one year of front office
experience.

∙Candidate must successfully pass a background check.

Job Title:
Housekeeper

Part-Time/ Full-Time

Broadway Court Estates is a family-owned retirement community committed to delivering a first-rate senior living environment. We are seeking a friendly, dependable Housekeeper with the drive to provide quality service to join our team.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

∙Housekeeping services to tenants (vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kitchen, bathroom, bedding, etc.)
∙Cleaning communal areas and vacant rooms
∙Cleaning/restocking facility bathrooms, emptying trashes


Must be flexible, have heart and the ability to work with our senior population, most 70+.

Knowledge of:
∙Cleaning procedures
∙Cleaning products.
∙Various housekeeping tools and equipment.

Skill & Abilities:
∙Performing all housekeeping duties.
∙Accomplishing assigned tasks within a set schedule.
∙Take instruction and carryout assigned duties.
∙Follow established policies and procedures.
∙Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and tenants.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED and minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping experience required.

Job Title: Wait Staff
Department: Kitchen
Reports to: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Status: Part-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday 3:30pm – 8:00pm, and Sunday 12:30pm-5pm or 1:00pm-7pm.

Summary
Under the direction of the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, this position serves food to tenants for lunch, dinner, and/or special events. The candidate will perform routine work in preparing and serving food and performs routine clean up and sanitation duties within the food service operation. This position involves interaction with our diverse and active senior population and requires a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor that is in line with the company’s commitment to service and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

∙Successfully provide food service to a large group of tenants.
∙Provide a variety of routine duties in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
∙Buss tables in a timely manner.
∙Follow all regulations and procedures for food handling to ensure a safe and sanitary food service environment.
∙Stock/re-stock food supplies and equipment from kitchen to eating areas, storerooms, wait station and refrigerator.
∙Set up dining room for formal dinner service or events.
∙Run food to dining room for tenant dinner.
∙Perform routine clean up duties in the food service operation such as dishwashing, trash removal, cleaning kitchen equipment, cleaning kitchen floors, sanitizing counter tops and tables, clean floor in café, wait station, and dining room, and clean windows in café as needed.
∙Keep coffee containers full. Clean coffee service area including pots and equipment.
∙Check on food items available in the Café for tenants. Keep stocked and area clean.
∙Establish and maintain effective working relationships with tenants, leads and coworkers.
∙Keep salt and pepper shakers, condiment containers, and napkin containers full.
∙May perform laundry duties for kitchen.
∙May operate standard kitchen appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, etc.
∙May assist in record keeping duties for meal orders.
∙Perform other related duties as required.
